Have you heard about the Heart 2 Heart walk? Torode attended and spoke at the official launch of the Heart 2 Heart Walk 2023 at Parliament House Canberra.
The walk is about calling for attention on the impacts of first responder mental health and wellbeing as referred in the recommendations from the 2019 Australian Senate Inquiry.
Torode are honoured to be gold sponsors and to support those who spend their lives supporting others.
Attending the launch and hearing members of parliament speak in support of the foundation, is an example of how a simple thought can turn into something as impactful as the Heart 2 Heart walk 2023 and the foundation.
The Heart 2Heart foundation is made up of first responders. First responders have an innate desire to give back and to be of service.
What they are creating is a sense of community, connectedness and comradery not dissimilar to being in the service.
